ICM 2014 Satellite Conference
August 7 – 12, 2014·KAIST, Daejeon, Korea
A satellite conference of the Seoul ICM 2014, covering the interplays between geometric group theory and geometric structures — discrete subgroups of Lie groups, hyperbolic geometry, Teichmüller theory, representation varieties, bounded cohomology, hyperbolic and CAT(0) groups, and automorphisms of free and surface groups. The meeting concluded on August 12 with a bus ride to Seoul, where the International Congress of Mathematicians opened the next day.
